The popular Kapamilya love team of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are back with a thrilling new series where they will top-bill ABS-CBN’s upcoming romance-suspense titled “The Alibi” that will air soon.

ABS-CBN announced the new series today (June 18) through an investigative-style photo reel that featured Kim and Paulo in character with their new look—a daring Kim with short and curly hair and a rebellious-looking Paulo with a messy hairdo. The intriguing photo was also scattered with bloodstains and a pile of police files.

“The Alibi” will be helmed by the same team that was in charge of Kim and Paulo’s hit series “Linlang,” led by directors FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, writer Danica Domingo, and under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment. More details about the project will be announced soon.

“The Alibi” marks Kim and Paulo’s highly anticipated comeback after their widely successful projects for the mystery-thriller “Linlang” and romantic comedy “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” Philippine adaptation. They also starred in Star Cinema’s box-office hit movie “My Love Will Make You Disappear.”
